Job summary

Outlook Australia is seeking an After Hours Rostering Officer for a remote role to maintain service continuity from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. You will respond to urgent staff sickness, cancellations, and roster gaps using AlayaCare and update records, with daily voicemail checks and a Monday handover to NSW and VIC offices.

This flexible, remote role suits an experienced rostering professional who works independently, solves operational challenges, and participates in occasional onsite

Qualifications

• Practical rostering or scheduling experience in home care, disability, aged care or similar.
• Excellent problem solving and judgement, with the ability to interpret information while working remotely after hours.
• Clear, calm and professional communication for urgent roster updates and handovers.
• Ability to use rostering and client management systems, spreadsheets, email and Microsoft Teams; AlayaCare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent staff sickness and participant cancellations.
• Update roster by contacting Support Staff and Clients/Participants using AlayaCare to source information and record changes.
• Check the voicemail at 6:00 am each morning and make essential roster changes.
• Apply SCHADS rostering requirements and escalate urgent risks.
• Maintain accurate records and complete the Monday handover.
