Job summary

Outlook Australia is seeking an After-Hours Rostering Officer to maintain service continuity from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. You will respond to urgent staff sickness, client cancellations, and roster gaps, making essential changes and recording actions in AlayaCare.

The role is remote with onboarding in regional offices and occasional midweek onsite meetings. This flexible, weekend-driven position suits an experienced rostering professional who can work independently, elevate risks,

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering for home care, disability or community services.
• Ability to interpret information and make timely decisions while working remotely.
• Proficiency with AlayaCare or a similar rostering system.
• Strong communication and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to manage schedules and maintain service continuity.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent staff sickness and participant cancellations.
• Update roster by contacting Support Staff and Clients using AlayaCare to source information and record roster changes.
• Check voicemail at 6:00 am each morning and make essential roster changes.
• Apply SCHADS rostering requirements and elevate urgent risks.
• Maintain accurate records and complete the Monday handover.
