Job summary

Outlook Australia is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with disabilities. The role is remote, Friday to Monday on-call rostering to maintain service continuity, with onboarding at local NSW/VIC offices for training and meetings.

You will manage urgent shifts, update rosters in AlayaCare, and ensure handovers are completed each Monday morning. This flexible, weekend-focused position requires independent work, strong scheduling skills and commitment to safeguarding participants’

Qualifications

• Experience rostering or scheduling in home care or disability services.
• Ability to interpret information and make timely decisions remotely.
• Strong problem solving, judgement and good communication.
• Proficient with rostering systems, spreadsheets, email and Teams.
• AlayaCare experience preferred and digital literacy to access schedules.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent staff sickness and participant cancellations.
• Update roster by contacting staff and clients using AlayaCare to source info.
• Check voicemail at 6:00 am and apply rostering changes.
• Apply SCHADS rostering requirements and record urgent risks.
• Maintain records and complete Monday handover.
