Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Engineer – Prefabrication & Integration PMO for the ANZ Electrical Sector, based in various locations across Australia and New Zealand.

The role is a key client-facing technical interface and assistant project manager for prefabricated and integrated solutions contracts, driving technical compliance, interface coordination and project execution across multi-vendor packages without authoring primary detailed designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Systems Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least three years of experience in project engineering or technical delivery within relevant industries.
• Experience with integrated electrical equipment packages or substations is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and modular packaging concepts.
• Excellent communication and client-facing presence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project technical requirements and coordination per the PMO Delivery Model.
• Act as assistant project manager across assigned projects and programs.
• Lead technical reviews, design clarifications and workshops with SMEs.
• Review customer specifications, contract schedules and scope matrices for compliance.
• Review vendor submittals to confirm alignment with client specs and Eaton standards.
• Coordinate technical inquiries with clients, consultants and fabricators.
• Track progress of long-lead items and maintain schedule alignment.
• Support site teams with on-site integration challenges and handover packages.
