Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Engineer for Prefabrication & Integration PMO to join the ANZ Electrical Sector. The role focuses on coordinating multi-vendor packages, ensuring technical compliance, and leading engineering reviews across prefabricated solutions and integrated switchrooms.

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between client engineering teams, internal groups and partner fabricators, driving milestones and coordinating factory testing to meet contract scope and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project technical requirements and coordination in accordance with the PMO delivery model.
• Assist project manager with schedule tracking, milestone coordination and technical governance.
• Lead technical reviews, design reviews and clarification workshops with engineering teams and SMEs.
• Review customer specifications, contract schedules and scope matrices to capture requirements.
• Review vendor submittals and ensure compliance with client specifications and Eaton standards.
• Coordinate technical inquiries with clients, consultants and fabricators.
• Track production progress and long-lead component deliveries to maintain schedule.
• Coordinate handover packages including as-built documentation and test reports.
