Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Engineer – Prefabrication & Integration PMO for its ANZ Electrical Sector. The role is a key technical interface, coordinating multi‑vendor packages and ensuring contract scope, quality and program requirements are met without authoring primary detailed designs.

You will bridge client engineers, internal teams and partner fabricators, leading reviews, resolving interface challenges, tracking milestones and coordinating factory tests for delivered packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Systems Engineering, or an equivalent tertiary qualification.
• At least three years of experience in project engineering, systems engineering or technical delivery within relevant industries.
• Experience with integrated electrical equipment packages, substations or packaged switchrooms is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project technical requirements and coordination in accordance with the PMO Delivery Model.
• Act as assistant project manager across assigned projects and programs, supporting schedule tracking and technical governance.
• Serve as frontline technical contact for client engineering teams and consultants; lead technical exchange meetings and design reviews.
• Review customer technical specifications, contract schedules and scope matrices to capture requirements across packaged assemblies.
• Review engineering designs and vendor submittals to confirm compliance with client specifications and Eaton standards.
