Job summary

Pacific Family Medical Practice in Brisbane seeks an experienced Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a positive team culture.

You'll oversee billing, Medicare compliance and finances, coordinate onboarding of GPs, Registrars and medical students, and manage WorkCover claims, third-party invoicing, and practice incentives such as PRODA PIPs/WIPs/BBIP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Practice Manager in a Medical Practice (2+ years).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A team-oriented approach.
• Experience with Best Practice Software.
• Experienced in workforce recruitment, rostering, training and development and payroll.
• Knowledge of WorkCover claims and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the practice.
• Lead, support and manage administrative and clinical staff.
• Manage billing, Medicare compliance and financials.
• Coordinate the onboarding of GPs, Registrars and Medical students, through the RACGP/UQ.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage WorkCover claims and invoicing.
• Third-party invoicing and reporting management.
• Apply knowledge of practice incentives including PRODA PIPs/WIPs/BBIP.
