Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Plant Operator (Multiskilled) to operate Truck and Dog and Loader equipment across Pittsworth, Charlton, and Crows Nest depots. This permanent role runs 6.00am–3.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a nine-day fortnight and a robust benefits package.

You will hold a Heavy Combination licence and White Card, with near-electrical live parts and transport safety certifications. Competency upgrades can be supported.

Qualifications

• Mandatory qualifications: HC class licence, White Card, SWNELP, TLIF0009 (or obtain within 3 months of commencement).
• Desirable: MC licence and various VOC/RII competencies for plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Truck and Dog and Loader equipment across multiple sites.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain truck/loader equipment.
• Enjoy a nine-day fortnight and schedule-flexible work life balance.

About the team

PlantOperators (Multiskilled) have the opportunity to work on anextensive range of job sites, from major construction tooperational jobs, providing an opportunity to experience the variedworks Council has to offer.

TheLogistics Operations team provides a range of heavy vehicles, plantand equipment for internal wet or dry hire to the internal areas ofCouncil.

About you

Holdthemandatory qualifications,training and experience, as outlined below:
