Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Retail Customer Service Officer in Moss Vale to help customers in offices, handle sales, cash and identity services, and promote products. This 12-month contract role is 2 days a week—Mondays and Tuesdays 8:45am to 5:06pm (14h42m).

It includes 12 weeks of paid training and a starting rate of $29.72 per hour rising to $31.77 after about three months plus 12% super. You will work in a friendly team, support mail and parcel lodgements, and build lasting customer

Qualifications

Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels.
Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

Perform customer sales and service transactions.
Manage high value transactions including cash, cheques, cards and EFTPOS.
Identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
Upsell and promote products and services.
Assist customers with mail and parcels lodgements and costs.
Build relationships by understanding customer needs.
Assist with stocktaking and record maintenance.
Pay rate $29.72 per hour increasing to $31.77 per hour after ~3 months, plus 12% super.
12 weeks of paid training, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week.
2 days per week, Monday & Tuesday 8:45AM to 5:06PM, 14h42m per week.
12 month contract.
