Job summary

SA Metro Care in Adelaide is seeking an experienced HR Advisor/Coordinator for a part-time, office-based role. You will handle employee relations, workplace matters, performance management and investigations, while advising management and ensuring compliance with the SCHADS Award and modern workplace laws.

You will collaborate with Directors, Operations, Rostering and Service Coordinators to support day-to-day HR and workforce needs, and contribute to policy updates and HR system improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Experience as HR Advisor/Coordinator/Generalist.
• Solid employee relations experience.
• Strong SCHADS Award knowledge.
• Knowledge of Fair Work Act and NES.
• Experience with performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Ability to interpret employment contracts and HR policies.
• Excellent written HR correspondence.
• Confidence with confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR guidance and employee relations support to management.
• Manage workplace complaints, grievances and investigations.
• Support performance management and improvement processes.
• Assist with disciplinary, show cause and performance meetings.
• Prepare warnings and formal HR correspondence.
• Support termination and resignation processes.
• Advise on probation, attendance and conduct matters.
• Apply SCHADS Award, Fair Work Act and NES in day-to-day HR advice.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviews and pre-employment screening.
• Review and update HR policies and documentation.
• Support HR systems and process improvements.
• Maintain confidential HR records and case files.
• Assist managers with roster and employment condition queries.
