Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a Workplace Relations Advisor to join our team. This permanent part-time role is about 28 hours per week with hybrid working in Brisbane or Sydney, offering flexibility and growth opportunities.

You will provide practical, commercially focused advice on performance, disciplinary and conduct matters, navigate grievances, and interpret the Fair Work Act and contracts. You’ll plan and conduct investigations and help improve ER/IR policies across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace relations and advisory roles.
• Ability to interpret the Fair Work Act and employment contracts.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and providing findings.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice to leaders on performance, disciplinary, behavioural and conduct matters.
• Support leaders to navigate grievances and sensitive workplace issues.
• Interpret and provide advice on Fair Work Act and industrial instruments.
• Plan and conduct workplace investigations with clear findings.
• Review and improve ER/IR policies, procedures and practices.
• Contribute to broader Workplace Relations initiatives across the business.
• Develop advocacy skills and represent Cater Care in relevant commissions.
