Job summary

The Langham Hotel Melbourne is currently looking for a part-time Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team. You will be part of a 60-strong team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences across check-in, inquiries, currency exchange, and night audit support.

We value someone with at least 1 year of 5-star Front Office experience, strong presentation and communication skills, and a flexible attitude to weekend/public holiday shifts. Benefits include hotel discounts and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience within a 5 star Front Office environment.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of guest service during check-in/out, enquiries, and switchboard operations.
• Have knowledge of all room categories and rates.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, operating hours and costs.
• Anticipate guest needs and handle enquiries attentively.
• Take hotel reservations outside Reservations department hours.
