Mondrian Gold Coast, located in Burleigh Heads, invites you to join our culinary team as a Commis Chef on a part-time basis. You will support the delivery of exceptional food across LiTO and Haven, under the guidance of the Executive Chef and senior chefs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or hotel environment.
• Desirable Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Passion for food and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.
• Good time management and prioritisation.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Flexible part-time roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, cooking and presentation under supervision.
• Support kitchen areas across breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP, stock rotation and records.
• Assist with deliveries, stock levels and waste minimisation.
• Help induct new team members and support apprentices.
• Assist F&B team with guests' dietary requests.
