Job summary

Ibis Sydney World Square is seeking an experienced Night Manager to lead overnight operations, conduct the night audit and act as the key contact for stakeholders during the night. The role is full-time, night shifts only, including weekends and holidays, in Sydney's CBD.

The successful candidate will work autonomously, make decisions on behalf of management, and ensure safety, security and guest satisfaction throughout the night.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Opera PMS experience, RSA, First Aid, Australian working rights, and availability across overnights, weekends & public holidays.
• Highly regarded: experience with Shiji/Infrasys and ARIEL, and a Hospitality Management degree.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty overnight, responsible for the hotel and all guest queries.
• Manage front office: late check-ins, early departures, calls, reservations changes and guest requests.
• Conduct the full night audit: reconcile revenue, roll PMS, balance accounts and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Perform regular property walks, monitor CCTV and ensure guest and asset safety at all times.
• Handle overnight incidents or emergencies in line with procedures and legislation.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance for smooth handover.
• Maintain logs and handover to day team with clear communication.
