Job summary

Holiday Inn Potts Point in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to run hotel operations during night hours when the Night Manager is absent. You will ensure guest safety, manage the night audit and financial reporting, and lead a frontline team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

You will be responsible for emergencies, security of transactions, and maintaining brand standards while fostering a positive, productive workplace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hotel front office/guest service experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience with Opera or a similar front office system.
• Strong numeracy skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations during the overnight hours.
• Train and supervise colleagues in quality and service standards.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, professional service and recognition.
• Be the first responder for emergencies.
• Ensure secure handling of all financial transactions and complete audit prep.
• Oversee night audit and daily financial reporting with the finance team.
• Adhere to health, safety and brand standards.
• Demonstrate service behaviours aligned with IHG True Hospitality.
• Champion IHG Rewards Club training and compliance.
