Job summary

Ibis Budget Sydney Olympic Park is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight hotel operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience and accurate reporting. The role includes handling night-time front desk tasks, end-of-day reconciliation, and producing day-shift reports while maintaining PCI-compliant documentation.

The position requires overnight hours 11pm–7am, including weekends, with a focus on guest satisfaction, security rounds, and smooth shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Front Office operations.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Reporting and analytical skills essential for night audit paperwork.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs and enquiries.
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation procedures.
• Prepare Night Audit day packs and reports in PCI-compliant manner for distribution.
• Serve as primary contact for guest needs and concerns overnight.
• Conduct regular security rounds to ensure guest safety.
• Prepare reports for the day shift team to ensure smooth transitions.

Join our team as a Night Auditor at Ibis Budget Sydney Olympic Park!

We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to manage our hotel's overnight operations and ensure a seamless guest experience.

• This role is required to work overnight from 11pm to 7.00am the next day and also involves weekends.
• Oversee front desk operations during the night shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and enquiries with a friendly and professional manner
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation procedures.
• Compile Night Audit day pack reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance, distributing to specific departments in a timely manner as required
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guest needs and concerns throughout the night
• Conduct regular security rounds to maintain a safe and peaceful environment for all guests
• Prepare comprehensive reports for the day shift team, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts
• Maintain accurate records of all night audit activities
