Job summary

Extend After School Care is seeking an OSHC Relief Service Assistant in the Melbourne area. You will deliver engaging after-school activities, supervise safety and wellbeing, and prepare healthy snacks for children aged in-out of school hours.

The role is casual, with afternoon shifts (3:00 pm–6:00 pm) across western suburbs. A Certificate III or higher in relevant fields is preferred, plus WWCC, First Aid/ CPR, and Anaphylaxis & Asthma training (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Working With Children Check.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management training or willingness to obtain.

• Create Awesome Experiences: assist in delivering science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts.
• Safety First, Fun Always: lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Chef it up: whip up healthy, tasty snacks to sustain energy.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Work across our services in western suburbs (Tarneit, Sunshine, Melton).

Hourly Rate: $36.01 - $45.71 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $1.58 - $1.97 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Hours: Monday to Friday availability preferred.
• Timings: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• Work up to 5 shifts per week for After School Care.

• Vacation Care: Flexible 30 Hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
