Job summary

Extend Group is seeking an OSHC Relief Service Assistant to support after school and vacation care across our western suburbs (Tarneit, Sunshine, Melton). You’ll deliver science experiments, sports events, and creative activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

The role is casual with an hourly rate of $36.01–$45.71 plus 12% super, plus an additional $1.58–$1.97 per hour under the Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent; ongoing study toward related qualification.
• WWCC, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (or willingness to obtain).

• Create awesome experiences: assist in delivering science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do.
• Safety first, fun always: lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
• Chef it up: whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep energy levels high.
• The Community Connector: ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building integrated OSHC programs.

• Hours: Monday to Friday availability preferred.
• Timings: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• Work up to 5 shifts per week for After School Care.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
