Job summary

Overport Primary School in Frankston is seeking an OSHC Relief Service Assistant for casual hours. You will help deliver engaging activities, supervise a safe and inclusive environment, and prepare nourishing snacks for children.

The role includes after-school care from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm and vacation care up to 30 hours per week. Applicants should be studying toward or hold a qualification in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, plus WWCC, First Aid, CPR, and safety training.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or higher qualifications.
• A valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
• Experience or study toward OSHC/childcare is advantageous.

• Create Awesome Experiences: assist in delivering science experiments, sports tournaments, fun activities and creative arts for kids.

About your service: Overport Primary School, Frankston,

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
• After School Care: 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
