Job summary

Overport Primary School in Frankston is seeking an OSHC Relief Service Assistant to support after-school and vacation care activities. You will help deliver science and arts activities, supervise children in a safe, inclusive environment, and prepare healthy snacks to keep energy high.

The role is casual with shifts Mon, Tue and Thu, up to 30 hours per week in vacation care, with additional professional development and retention payments above award.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care (or higher) preferred.
• Warm, engaging attitude with a can-do mindset.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR; willingness to obtain Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts for kids.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy, tasty snacks to sustain energy.
• Engage with stakeholders to build integrated OSHC programs.

About your service: Overport Primary School, Frankston,

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
• After School Care: 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
