Job summary

Good Samaritan Catholic Primary School, Roxburgh Park, is seeking an OSHC Service Assistant to support After School Care and Vacation Care programs. You will help deliver engaging activities, supervise children, and assist with snacks while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.

Casual role with Wednesday and Thursday shifts; vacation care offers up to 30 hours per week. Relevant certificates and WWC are required, with paid PD sessions and retention payments above award.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or studying toward it (or equivalent).
• Warm, engaging personality with a can-do attitude.
• Must have Working With Children Check and relevant training such as First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Create awesome experiences with science, sports, arts and activities kids love.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy snacks to keep energy up for activities.
• Support integrated OSHC programs and communicate with stakeholders.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Good Samaritan Catholic Primary School, Roxburgh Park.

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Wednesday and Thursday.
• After School Care: 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
