Job summary

Tyndale Christian School in Strathalbyn is seeking an OSHC Service Assistant for casual hours, Monday to Friday, 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm, with vacation care up to 30 hours per week. You will support delivering engaging activities, ensure safety and inclusion, and provide healthy snacks while engaging with families and the community.

Applicants should be studying or qualified in Early Childhood, Education or School Aged Care, and hold checks and first aid qualifications as required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent (or studying toward).
• Diploma/Bachelor/Masters in related field acceptable.
• Must have or be eligible for approved qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering science experiments, sports, activities and arts that children enjoy.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy, tasty snacks to sustain energy during activities.
• Collaborate with families and staff to create integrated OSHC programs.

About your service: Tyndale Christian School, Strathalbyn.

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday.
• After School Care: 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
