Job summary

Brisbane Adventist College is hiring an OSHC Vacation Care Service Coordinator to design engaging activities, manage daily operations, and ensure a safe, inclusive space for children.

You will lead programs, coordinate with the engagement manager, and coordinate with leaders to deliver high-quality OSHC experiences across vacation care.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood or related field.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Willingness to obtain Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program activities: science, sports, arts that kids enjoy.
• Lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy snacks to maintain energy levels.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on assessments & ratings.
• Engage with stakeholders to build integrated OSHC programs.
• Manage day-to-day operations to keep the service running smoothly.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Brisbane Adventist College

Hourly Rate: $47- $50 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.00- $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week required during vacation care only.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

• The Qualification: You've got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor's, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services, and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
