Advanced Cranes & Rigging in Ballarat is seeking an Operations Assistant to support day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance and readiness across multiple client sites. You will liaise with team leaders, subcontractors and project teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations or project administration.
• Background in construction, transport, manufacturing or similar heavy industry.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-first approach.
• Confidence working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance records are aligned with project requirements.
• Liaise with clients to confirm bookings, job details and any follow-up to ensure a high level of service delivery.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on asset and people utilisation, maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Provide day-to-day operational support to supervisors and crews, ensuring effective communication across teams.
• Help identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Assist finance team with any follow-up documentation.
