Job summary

Freo Group Pty Ltd in Newman is seeking an organised, proactive Operations Coordinator to support our Newman operations, blending office-based planning with on-site coordination. You’ll work a 2:1 roster, report to the Superintendent and Supervisors, and help ensure safe, efficient crane and lifting services across mining and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations coordination, mobilisation, workforce planning and administration.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience within mining, maintenance, industrial services, cranes, logistics or construction (highly regarded).
• Experience with mobilisation systems, payroll, invoicing or procurement will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating labour, equipment and operational resources.
• Supporting workforce planning and scheduling.
• Managing employee mobilisation, travel and site access.
• Maintaining training, competency and compliance records.
• Coordinating shutdown and project requirements.
• Preparing customer invoices and supporting month-end billing.
• Processing payroll information and operational documentation.
• Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting reporting, procurement and branch administration.
• Assisting the operational team to deliver exceptional customer service.
