Randstad is recruiting on behalf of a premier Australian engineering, equipment manufacturing and service group. The role owns the day-to-day heartbeat of the Service & Care division, ensuring field technicians are moving, jobs are billed promptly, and a blended onshore/offshore support team runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in service coordination, dispatch, or operations management within trade, construction, mechanical services, equipment hire, or technical industries.
• Strong familiarity with scheduling platforms such as SimPRO, AroFlo, Jobpac, or similar tools.
• Experience supervising internal administration, dispatch teams, or offshore support desks.
• Solid understanding of job invoicing, technician productivity metrics and work order close-outs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee job allocation, balancing preventive maintenance with urgent, reactive technician callouts.
• Mentor and supervise local and offshore administration and customer care desks, ensuring SLAs and targets.
• Work with accounts to ensure invoices are issued promptly and debtors are managed.
• Coordinate with warehouse/procurement to ensure replacement parts are ready on time.
• Maintain data integrity across CRM and job management platforms (SimPRO or equivalent).
• Support front-line allocation or customer escalation desks to keep workflows moving.

Operating across consulting, manufacturing, and technical maintenance, they deliver heavy‑duty commercial equipment and service solutions across Australia.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Equipment & Service, you will own the day‑to‑day heartbeat of the Service & Care division.

This is an busy, high‑impact operational role ideal for an experienced Service Coordinator, Dispatch Supervisor, or Trade Operations Manager ready to run an internal division. You’ll keep field technicians moving, ensure jobs are billed promptly, and manage a blended onshore and offshore support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee job allocation, balancing preventative maintenance schedules with urgent, reactive technician callouts.
• Mentor and supervise local and offshore administration and customer care desks, ensuring SLAs and job completion targets are met.
• Work closely with accounts to ensure completed work orders are invoiced promptly, supplier costs are verified, and debtors are managed.
• Coordinate with warehouse/procurement to ensure technicians have required replacement parts ready on time.
• Maintain data integrity across CRM and job management platforms (SimPRO or equivalent).
• Support from the front—ready to step into allocation or customer escalation desks whenever required to keep workflows moving.

What We Are Looking For
