Job summary

BD is seeking an Oncology Sales Specialist to influence oncology practice across hospitals in VIC East and Tasmania, partnering with clinicians and leaders to drive adoption of BD’s oncology portfolio. You will educate, demonstrate and advocate for safer cancer care while building lasting relationships with pharmacy, nursing and management teams.

With a patient-centric mindset, you’ll navigate complex clinical pathways, deliver in-service training, and stay connected to the oncology community

Qualifications

• Experience working within Oncology or Haematology.
• Strong understanding of chemotherapy administration, oncology workflows and patient care pathways.
• Exposure to hazardous drug handling practices and closed-system transfer devices.
• Confidence presenting, educating and influencing clinical audiences.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated and organised approach.
• The ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse territory.
• Commercial curiosity and a desire to build a career in the MedTech industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of BD's oncology portfolio across hospitals throughout VIC East and Tasmania.
• Partner with Oncology and Haematology Nurses, Nurse Unit Managers, Educators, Pharmacists and other key stakeholders.
• Deliver product demonstrations, clinical education and in-service training.
• Support healthcare professionals in implementing best practice around hazardous drug preparation and administration.
• Build trusted relationships with clinicians and decision-makers across your territory.
• Identify opportunities to expand adoption and improve customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with BD's broader clinical and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Attend conferences, industry events and education sessions to stay connected to the oncology community.
