Job summary

Estia Health seeks compassionate dual care workers to join our aged care homes. You will support residents with daily living, meals and mobility, providing person-centered care that respects dignity and privacy. Training and development opportunities are available to grow your skills.

Ideal candidates will have a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, strong documentation skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care is required.
• Experience as a caregiver or similar role.
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, meals and hydration.

About the Role

At Estia Health, we offer dual care worker opportunities. Being rostered in either traditional Care Worker shifts or blended Care and Nutrition shifts is a great way to provide our staff with variety and skill development, while keeping the pay rate identical across both roles.

Every individual in our homes has a story. You’ll get to know each one as you:

• Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed, including helping them with their meal and drinks
• Work with our team to support those with challenging needs
• Help keep our residents’ bodies and minds active
• Keep tabs on our residents’ health – helping with treatments
• Be a friend to our residents
• Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected

You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Time spent working as a caregiver or similar
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
