Job summary

Lifeline Queensland, part of UnitingCare, is seeking a Retail Supervisor in Rockhampton on a casual roster. You will lead store operations, coach staff and volunteers, manage pricing/merchandising and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service for our charity retail brand.

You will work with a team across Lifeline's network to support crisis services and the suicide prevention program, with NFP salary packaging and commission incentives for high performers.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management (or hospitality with retail background).
• Ability to coach and mentor staff and volunteers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with retail systems and POS.
• Leadership and ability to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the retail operation and delegate responsibilities to ensure sound business practices and targets are met.
• Lead staff and volunteers in pricing, merchandising, promotions and selling techniques to maintain profitability.
• Maintain effective communication within the team, regional support and external stakeholders, and assist with customer inquiries/complaints.
• Set objectives, prioritise tasks, and coach direct reports to link development to business goals.
