Job summary

Lifeline Queensland is seeking a Casual Retail Supervisor in Rockhampton to lead daily store operations, coach staff and volunteers, and drive sales while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers a meaningful, community-focused environment within a national charity network.

The successful candidate will manage pricing, merchandising and promotions, ensure strong team communication, and support Lifeline’s crisis support and suicide prevention services through retail activity.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or hospitality with retail exposure.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and exceed expectations.
• Interest in leading and mentoring staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a retail operation and delegate tasks to achieve sales targets.
• Coach and develop staff and volunteers to improve performance.
• Review pricing, merchandising and promotions to maintain profitability.
• Maintain effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• Address customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
