Rydges Hotels & Resorts North Sydney is seeking a Night Manager to oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring security, smooth service, and timely guest responses. You will lead the night team, coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance, and complete accurate night audits.

The role requires strong guest service, proficiency with front office systems and night audit processes, and solid leadership and WH&S knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in front office or overnight hotel operations acting as the manager on duty.
• Strong guest service capability, with tact, diplomacy, and urgency.
• Highly proficient in front office systems, night audit processes, and hotel property management software.
• Experienced in accurate financial reconciliation, including posting revenue and balancing payments.
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills, supervising night staff and collaboration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of WH&S guidelines and local hotel procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring security and service standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, including check-ins/outs and responding to concerns.
• Complete the night audit process accurately with proper documentation.
• Supervise night team members, maintaining performance standards and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance for guest readiness.
• Maintain operational readiness by completing opening/closing duties and safeguarding equipment.
