Connect APAC partners with a leading Australian consumer and trade business to recruit a commercially sharp National Account Manager. You will own and grow national construction accounts, including major builders and trade distributors, driving revenue and margin growth across the country.

You’ll build strategic partnerships, negotiate terms and collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical and Category teams to deliver innovation and customer programs while maintaining disciplined

Qualifications

• Proven key or national account management experience in construction or related B2B.
• Strong track record of growing revenue and margin with major customers.
• Confident negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to influence senior level stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
• Strong planning, analytical and presentation capabilities.
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Sales or Marketing is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Manage and grow a portfolio of national construction and trade accounts, owning revenue, margin and volume targets.
• Build and deliver joint business plans, trading terms and account strategies.
• Develop relationships at site, procurement and senior decision-maker levels.
• Identify new business with builders, developers and construction partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical and Category teams on innovation and programs.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing and promotional investment with discipline.
• Use market insights to spot trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities.
