Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Mobility Specialist to join our Intelligent Workspace team in Australia. This role focuses on day-to-day management of customers' EMM systems, delivering services to meet SLAs, and driving improvements across deployments.

You will work across iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows 10 environments, leveraging tools such as Intune, MobileIron, WS1 and Google Admin. Occasional travel to client sites and conferences is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of IT industry experience, preferably with an IT managed service provider.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in a Mobility role.
• Strong knowledge of iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows 10 operating systems.
• Good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with Enterprise applications and mobile device management tools (e.g., MobileIron, Google Admin, VMware WS1, Microsoft Intune).
• Excellent troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills; capable of working autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Using tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs.
• Travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences as needed.
• Operational support of customer systems including monitoring, incident resolution, and changes.
• Identify inefficient procedures and suggest improvements for implementation.
• Produce accurate, concise, and timely reports.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to less experienced staff.
• Build customer environments using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Omnissa WS1, and MobiControl.
• Provide governance to mobile deployments for iOS, Android, Chrome OS devices.
• Assist with project delivery, bid responses, design briefings, and training.
• Document risks and issues, and maintain knowledge of systems and services.
