Job summary

The Australian Medical Association (NSW) is seeking a Membership and Growth Manager to lead the membership team in driving growth, engagement and retention. You will work closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to implement a high-impact membership strategy, oversee operations, partnerships and data quality, and deliver outstanding customer service to members.

This senior, strategic role offers a collaborative environment in St Leonards with opportunities to shape AMA NSW's member experience

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or related discipline.
• Business development and/or membership growth experience ideally in a membership or subscription-based organisation.
• Proven ability to design and implement strategy and drive growth.
• Experience leading a high performing team.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship building skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert strategy into action.
• Experience with CRM’s and membership and/or subscription models.
• Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Professional presentation and the ability to be a good ambassador for AMA NSW

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the membership strategy to strengthen engagement, retention and growth while ensuring members receive a consistent, high-value experience.
• Proactively drive membership growth to meet AMA NSW targets.
• Track performance against growth, retention and member satisfaction targets, using insights to improve results.
• Lead and develop a high performing membership team fostering a culture of customer service and high performance through coaching, training and feedback
• Oversee membership operations, reporting and data quality to support informed decisions and a seamless member experience.
• Identify opportunities for growth in membership, partnerships and sponsorships
• Build trusted relationships with members, stakeholders and partners, representing AMA NSW
