Southern Highlands Private Hospital in Bowral is seeking a flexible Medical Receptionist to join our administrative team. The role involves admitting and discharging patients, checking in for consults, taking payments and general reception duties in a busy hospital environment.

You will provide a welcoming front-of-house experience, respond to emails, coordinate with clinical staff, and multi-task to ensure a smooth patient journey.

Competenze

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster with no weekends
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite programs and Patient Management Systems essential
• Experience in medical administration or patient-facing role highly desirable
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain good working relations with others
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills and a strong team focus are vital for this position

Full-Time & Permanent part-time opportunities are now available for a flexible, highly organised and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our administrative team at Southern Highlands Private Hospital.

You will be responsible for performing administrative duties within the department such as Admitting and Discharging patients, booking and checking in patients for consults with physicians and taking payments, filing, booking appointments and general reception duties.

Overall, you will be a part of a friendly team that works cooperatively to achieve the best outcomes for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for patients and visitors.
• Respond to and manage email enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
