Job summary

Southern Highlands Private Hospital in Bowral, NSW, is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist for an exciting casual position within our Allied Health Team.

In this role you will assess and treat inpatients requiring rehabilitation and contribute to discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy with current APHRA registration and SIRA accreditation.
• Minimum 12 months' relevant clinical experience in Physiotherapy.
• Ability to effectively manage a case load and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatients requiring rehabilitation for orthopaedic, reconditioning, and post-op care.
• Provide physiotherapy treatments to inpatients as part of a multidisciplinary program.
• Develop discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Work independently and as part of a supportive team environment.

An exciting casual opportunity is now available for an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our friendly Allied Health Team. This successful candidate will have availability for regular leave cover and to work an occasional half day on Saturdays. In this role, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Manage a diverse range of patients who require inpatient rehabilitation for the management of a range of orthopaedic & reconditioning conditions includingpost-op acute, rehabilitation, medical
• Provide Physiotherapy treatments to Inpatients as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program
• Participate in developing appropriate discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team
• Work both independently and as part of a team within a supportive environment

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent with current unlimited APHRA registration and SIRA Accreditation
• Minimum 12 months' relevant clinical experience in Physiotherapy
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage a case load
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High standard of customer service and a team approach
• Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
• Flexible, positive approach to work
