Job summary

H&H Metal Recycling on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Weighbridge, Logistics & Administration Operator to support weighbridge operations, transport coordination, customer service and general administration. You will play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while working with customers, drivers, yard staff and management.

This varied role offers a hands-on environment, with training provided to the right person in transport, logistics and administration.

Experience in transport, logistics, weighbridge or admin is valued; training provided.

Responsibilities

Operating the weighbridge and accurately processing vehicle weights and transactions.
Preparing weighbridge dockets, RCTIs and customer paperwork.
Answering incoming phone calls and emails.
Assisting customers with enquiries.
Booking and coordinating scrap metal collections.
Scheduling skip bin deliveries, exchanges and collections.
Coordinating tray truck and other transport movements.
Liaising with drivers, customers, yard staff and management daily.
Processing customer payments and managing the till.
Managing and reconciling petty cash.
