Job summary

H&H Metal Recycling on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Weighbridge, Logistics & Administration Operator to support weighbridge operations, transport coordination, customer service and general administration. You will play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while working with customers, drivers, yard staff and management.

This varied role offers a hands-on environment, with training provided to the right person in transport, logistics and administration.

Responsibilities

• Operating the weighbridge and accurately processing vehicle weights and transactions.
• Preparing weighbridge dockets, RCTIs and customer paperwork.
• Answering incoming phone calls and emails.
• Assisting customers with enquiries.
• Booking and coordinating scrap metal collections.
• Scheduling skip bin deliveries, exchanges and collections.
• Coordinating tray truck and other transport movements.
• Liaising with drivers, customers, yard staff and management daily.
• Processing customer payments and managing the till.
• Managing and reconciling petty cash.
