Job summary

Zilch Waste Recyclers is seeking a Weighbridge Operator with administration duties. The role combines weighbridge operations, daily admin tasks and customer service in a busy, practical environment.

You will handle vehicle movements, data entry, payments, invoicing and routine reporting using Xero and spreadsheets. The right candidate has a strong customer service background, can multi-task, stay organised under pressure and quickly learn new software.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background.
• Able to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Comfortable with varied software: Xero, Excel, Microsoft, CRM.
• Weighbridge experience would be an added bonus but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate weighbridge and process vehicle movements.
• Enter accurate customer, vehicle and transaction information.
• Process payments and invoices.
• Use Xero for day-to-day administration and accounts functions.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets.
• Answer phones and handle product enquiries.
• General administration and data entry.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
• Weighbridge use, scheduling and business software.
• Support safety and environmental procedures.
