Zilch Waste Recyclers is seeking a Weighbridge Operator with administration duties. The role combines weighbridge operations, daily admin tasks and customer service in a busy, practical environment.

You will handle vehicle movements, data entry, payments, invoicing and routine reporting using Xero and spreadsheets. The right candidate has a strong customer service background, can multi-task, stay organised under pressure and quickly learn new software.

Weighbridge Operator with Administration Duties

A busy, varied role combining weighbridge operations, administration and customer service.

Key responsibilities

Operating the weighbridge and processing vehicle movements

Entering accurate customer, vehicle and transaction information

Processing payments and invoices

Using Xero for day-to-day administration and accounts functions

Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets

Answering phones, product enquiries, assisting customers with enquiries

General administration and data entry

Maintaining accurate records and paperwork

Using weighbridge, scheduling and business software

Help maintain compliance with safety and environmental procedures

About you

The right person for this role will have a strong customer service background and enjoy dealing with people in a busy, practical work environment.

You will be confident speaking with customers, drivers and contractors, both face-to-face and over the phone, and able to remain organised while handling several tasks at once.

Administrative experience would be a strong advantage, however being comfortable with varied software would be an advantage - Xero, Excel, Microsoft, CRM.

Previous weighbridge experience would be an added bonus, but is not essential. We are happy to train the right person who is willing to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
