Job summary

Willoughby City Council invites applications for the Library Operations Supervisor to lead the Library Operations team and to oversee library IT systems, rostering, procurement, venue hire and facilities maintenance across the network.

You will drive operational excellence, manage budgets and ensure excellent customer service while supporting continuous improvement and reporting on library data. This role requires strong leadership, IT know-how and a commitment to community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in library services, IT or business administration.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Experience leading a small team and improving library operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Library Operations team and support performance and development.
• Oversee library IT systems and hardware, public computers and WiFi.
• Manage rostering, procurement, venue hire and facilities maintenance.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources to meet service needs.
• Support collection, analysis and reporting of operational data.
• Contribute to library strategic and business plans.
• Participate in service point shifts as shift supervisor.
