Job summary

Ipswich City Council invites applications for the Library Services Manager role. Lead a professional team across multiple locations to plan, develop and deliver high-quality library services that meet community needs.

You will drive strategic planning, manage risks, build partnerships and analyse customer data to design responsive services that enhance community experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification and/or substantial equivalent experience.
• Current Queensland C Class Drivers Licence.
• Demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal and library service skills.
• Advanced knowledge of project management, operational management and strategic planning.
• Ability to uphold safety, wellbeing, communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership values.

About the role

As Library Services Manager you will lead a passionate, professional and self-motivated team in the planning, development and delivery of quality library services.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Drive strategic planning of library services through service delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement to meet future growth

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Relevant professional qualification and/or substantial equivalent experience
