Job summary

Freedom Fuels is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to design, build and deliver engaging training across retail, operations and support teams. The role covers learning design, delivery, and capability programs in a broad, hands-on capacity.

You’ll create digital content with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), facilitate in-person and virtual sessions, manage the LMS, and partner with leaders to identify learning needs.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Learning & Development Specialist who loves bringing learning to life.

This is a broad, hands-on L&D role where you'll design it, build it and facilitate it. You'll deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual learning, create digital content using Articulate, support leadership and capability programs, and help make learning practical and accessible across our business.

You'll work with people across retail, operations and our support teams, so there's plenty of variety and opportunity to make an impact. The underlying position supports capability across frontline retail, operations, supply chain and corporate teams.

What you'll be doing

You'll be involved across the full learning cycle, including:

• Facilitating engaging face-to-face and virtual learning
• Designing and developing eLearning using Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise
• Creating facilitator guides, participant resources, toolkits and job aids
• Designing blended learning using virtual, classroom, digital and on-the-job approaches
• Supporting leadership and people capability programs
• Delivering compliance, safety and operational learning
• Partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to identify capability needs
• Turning complex information into practical, easy-to-understand learning
• Coordinating external learning providers where specialist expertise is needed
• Managing learning through our LMS
• Using feedback and data to continually improve our learning programs

The role has a genuinely broad remit covering learning design and delivery, leadership capability, compliance and safety training, learning systems, analytics and change support.

What you'll bring

You're an L&D all-rounder who is just as comfortable facilitating a room, running a virtual session or building an eLearning module as you are partnering with stakeholders to solve a capability need.

You'll ideally bring:

• Strong facilitation skills, both face-to-face and virtually
• Confidence facilitating employees and leaders at different levels
• Hands-on experience with Articulate 360, particularly Storyline and Rise
• Strong instructional design and adult learning capability
• Experience creating engaging blended learning solutions
• Broad generalist L&D experience across leadership, compliance and capability development
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
• Experience working with an LMS and digital learning tools
• Good organisation and project management skills
• A practical, curious and collaborative approach

Experience in a multi-site, retail, logistics, industrial or operational environment would be highly regarded. The position description currently calls for significant L&D/OD experience and identifies experience in multi-site and safety-critical environments as desirable.
