Job summary

Community Housing Industry Association NSW seeks a Training Manager (Learning and Development) to lead the design, delivery and quality assurance of training across CHIA NSW’s programs. The role collaborates with trainers and students, ensuring high standards and effective professional development within the community housing sector.

The successful candidate will oversee LMS and SMS systems, manage a learning team, and drive continuous improvement in education offerings aligned with the 2015

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or higher related qualification.
• Experience in managing vocational education and professional development programs.
• Understanding and application of the 2015 Standards for RTOs.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance existing training programs to improve engagement, learning and retention.
• Ensure training materials are current, accurate and effective.
• Identify opportunities to improve training through industry developments or operational changes.
• Deliver or facilitate required training and professional development sessions.
• Lead LMS development to meet student needs and monitor milestones within budget.
