Job summary

CGC Recruitment's client is a financially secure Tier 2 commercial builder seeking an experienced Project Manager in Perth's northern suburbs to take ownership of a major construction project. The role targets delivery of projects valued up to $180m, with a focus on leadership, safe and on-time completion.

You will lead Site Managers, Contract Administrators and engineers, manage programming and budgets, and foster strong client relationships while upholding quality and financial objectives

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Experience delivering projects valued at $20m+ with a reputable head contractor.
• Background in multistorey residential, mixed-use or commercial building projects.
• Strong programming, financial management and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
• Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery from commencement through to completion.
• Manage programming, procurement, budgets and project performance.
• Lead and coordinate Site Managers, Contract Administrators, Project Engineers and subcontractors.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Oversee contractual requirements, variations and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, programme and financial objectives.
• Drive collaboration across the project team to achieve successful outcomes.
