Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a national contractor delivering complex commercial and high-specification industrial projects across WA. This role combines technical engineering knowledge with subcontractor procurement and project planning to drive successful delivery of major projects.

Qualifications

Experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with a commercial or industrial head contractor.
Strong understanding of technical construction packages and subcontractor procurement.
Experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

Lead procurement activities across significant commercial and industrial developments.
Manage tender packages, scopes of work and subcontractor selection.
Review technical specifications, drawings and project documentation.
Coordinate subcontractor negotiations and procurement schedules.
Identify procurement risks and manage critical and long-lead packages.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Managers and delivery teams.
Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets, programme and construction requirements.
