Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Perth invites a Project Manager to lead and deliver diverse commercial construction and maintenance projects within the region. You will own end-to-end delivery, manage client expectations, and drive project success for CBRE's GWS team.

Key duties include building a robust project pipeline, coordinating with developers, designers and subcontractors, tendering, risk and financial management, and reporting to senior leadership while ensuring WHS and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven Project Management experience in commercial construction, fit-out or critical environments.
• Proven experience of running a P&L.
• Experience leading a team.
• Recognized technical qualification in Building and Construction Project Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop a short-medium-long term pipeline of project opportunities from a portfolio of global maintenance contracts.
• Liaise with stakeholders to define requirements and explain feasibility as a trusted advisor.
• Work with developers, designers and subcontractors to document scopes of work and align with business case.
• Manage tenders and carry out tender analysis from subcontractors.
• Identify and manage statutory and commercial risks for projects led.
• Ensure CBRE WHS and Quality practices are embedded and compliant on each project.
• Oversee day-to-day operations end-to-end including estimating, business development, procurement, and site manager duties as principal contractor.
• Provide monthly reports to Head of Projects/Business Unit Director.
• Maintain accountability for project P&L and achieve financial objectives.
