Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Perth seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction and maintenance projects across the region.

You will own end-to-end delivery, manage budgets, and coordinate with developers, designers and subcontractors to deliver projects on scope and on time. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in project management for commercial buildouts or similar environments, with proven team leadership and P&L oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years proven Project Management experience in commercial construction, fit-out or critical environment.
• Proven experience of running a P&L
• Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team
• Recognized technical qualification in Building and Construction Project Management, Estimating, Scheduling, Site Management, Site Supervising

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate a pipeline of project opportunities from maintenance contracts.
• Liaise with stakeholders and explain feasibility to become trusted advisor.
• Define and document scope with developers, designers, and sub-contractors.
• Manage tenders and perform tender analysis from sub-contractors.
• Identify and manage statutory and commercial risks.
• Ensure CBRE WHS and Quality practices are embedded in each project.
• Oversee end-to-end day-to-day operations including estimating, procurement, site management.
• Provide monthly reports to Head of Projects/Business Unit Director.
• Be accountable for P&L and meet financial objectives; analyze variances.
