CGC Recruitment invites applications for a Senior Project Engineer role responsible for leading procurement activities on major commercial and industrial projects across Western Australia. The role combines technical engineering knowledge with subcontractor procurement and project planning to drive successful delivery.

You will review specifications and drawings, coordinate negotiations, manage procurement schedules, and work closely with Project Managers and design teams to align with budgets

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with a commercial or industrial head contractor.
• Strong understanding of technical construction packages and subcontractor procurement.
• Experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple procurement packages and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead procurement activities across significant commercial and industrial developments.
• Manage tender packages, scopes of work and subcontractor selection.
• Review technical specifications, drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor negotiations and procurement schedules.
• Identify procurement risks and manage critical and long-lead packages.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Managers and delivery teams.
• Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets, programme and construction requirements.
