Job summary

CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established Tier 2 commercial builder to appoint a Senior Contract Administrator / Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major metropolitan Perth project in Bentley. You will lead commercial management, procurement, and risk mitigation while collaborating with the Project Manager and delivery team to drive value and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or Senior Quantity Surveyor within commercial construction.
• Experience delivering projects valued at $20m+.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contracts and commercial risk management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with ability to own commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leading procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
• Managing head contract and subcontract administration.
• Overseeing project budgets, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Managing progress claims, variations and contractual correspondence.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members.
